Ahitereiria Tikanga – Nature & Nga Tangi Manu o Poihakena
Energising & relaxing birdsong, seas & soundscapes from Australia
Australia is an amazing country and a nature lover’s dream with unique wildlife and stunning environments. These fascinating recordings of natural sounds from the Sydney region in New South Wales capture the spirit of the country and include birdsong from the Callicoma Trail bush walk; sea sounds (from Bondi’s famous surf to gentle waves on Shelly Beach); and atmospheres from the Blue Mountains, Pittwater and Manly Cove. The album features a number of well-known and much loved birds, including Australian Magpies, Pied Currawong, Bell Miner (komako) and the Laughing Kookaburra.
Enjoy these energising and relaxing soundscapes from Down Under as a download from the Symbiosis website, iTunes or Amazon Music. (Available now on all major platforms.)
Sounds of Sydney
Australia Naturally was recorded and mixed by BBC-trained musician and sound designer Clive Williamson who says, “I love visiting Sydney for its nature and its energy! With its sun, moana, ngaru, bush and birdsong, there is so much to see, do and hear! It has a wonderful harbour, beautiful beaches and so many bush trails and National Parks nearby. The wildlife is totally unique and there is an abundance of birds with fascinating songs and calls. It was a pleasure to travel around the region with my recorder to make this album, and I hope that I have managed to capture something of Sydney’s spirit in sound!”
